These little saucy Sock owls are new to Monkeygang they have been causing trouble by keeping the Sock monkeys awake at night with their twittering. If you would like to give one a home they are available from the Folksy shop
New swing
It has been raining all day today so Monkey maker has built me a new swing indoors. All the other sock monkeys have been lining up wanting a go. I have requested that she build another smaller one for the tiny monkeys so that we can all play together . She said that she will do anything for a quiet life so we are waitng for the next one to arrive
Smithy’s day out
Recently on a lovely Autumn day I was taken for trip to a Country Estate park. It was lovely to swing amongst the trees and enjoy the sunshine
My new red hoody
At last the Monkey maker has finished my red hoody I know it is not Winter yet but I want to be prepared for when it gets cold. It has a smart red pom pom on the hood.
All the other Sock monkeys are putting in requests so there is going to be alot of knitting kneedles clicking. They are available on the Monkeygang web site in a couple of weeks time.

I am sorry for the lack of posts lately, the Monkey maker has been busy filling up the jungle with new sock monkeys ready for the Autumn. This has made a lot of work for me trying to find room for everybody. I have been promised a holiday soon. Monkey maker’s daughter is off to California end of August going on a road trip to the desert I have pleaded to go along but I think it has fallen on deaf ears. She is unreliable anyway and tends to forget me, I shall have to stay at home and hope that something exciting happens.
Many of the sock monkeys are having knitted jackets for the Winter. I have requested a red one .
Back from Wales
I am back from my attempt to climb The Pyg route in Snowdonia . The weather was so bad the climb was abandoned when we were nearly at the top. There is a slight delay with the photos because of a technical hitch they will appear soon
